Please note that the supporting documents will be revised shortly. The 2006 standard is still in use until the individual jurisdictions adopt the new standard. It is available below.
Recycling
Vendor Qualification Standard: The Electronics Recycling Standard
defines the minimum requirements for managing end-of-life electronics.
This Standard is intended to assist in determining if these products are
managed in an environmentally sound manner that safeguards worker health
and safety and the environment from the point of primary processing to
final disposition.
Recycling Vendor
Qualification Guidance Document: Developed to serve as an
educational document on the environmental, legal, health and safety
hazards associated with end of life electronics. Allows recyclers to
develop environmentally sound recycling processes. And provides
environmental auditors with a knowledge base for conducting assessments
of electronics recyclers.
Recycling
Vendor Qualification Process: This document outlines the process
EPSC-accredited auditors will use to determine the downstream tracking and
auditing of sub-vendors, including how to determine whether an on-site
audit is required
